After 10 dusty weeks of building and decorating, we re-opened on 9th March with a full complement of shiny new shower rooms. Our thanks to David, our chippy, and Geoff, our plumber, for all their hard work.

we were assessed on 26th March and finally got our 4 Star Silver Award - it had been just beyond our reach for the past eight years! Our shower rooms are now up to standard, and we are very smug to report that we got 100% for our breakfasts and our cleanliness.

Goodwood Revival Meeting

We always look forward to the Festival of Speed and the Goodwood Revival, when we can welcome back some of our regular guests. We have put together a photo album on our Facebook site of Cars We Have Known - we hope you enjoy seeing them as much as we do!

Laura's Intrepid Bike Ride

Some of our regular guests (and friends!) will remember how helpful our daughter was when we took over the business, nearly nine years ago. Now Laura has gone off on her bike to cycle 5000 km throughout Europe - with just a tent and sleeping bag! The Gare Du Nord at night!

We returned to Halnaker on No Fly Thursday - and Still No Fly Friday, arriving at 9 pm after a long journey across Europe, a night camping out at the Gare Du Nord and finally, the ferry. Trains and Boats and Planes ... our apologies to our guests who had to find alternative accommodation for the weekend - we really did try our hardest to get back!

Spring has arrived! After a hard winter and late spring, everything is bursting into bloom at once. Our garden is always at it's best in the spring, but it has surpassed itself this year! Lots more pictures on Facebook.
